Official posthumous album from the Yancey estate. Not much information was released with the project, so it’s rather mysterious overall. Regardless, it’s unheard Dilla and I can never complain about that (unless it’s bootlegged of course). All love to the Yancey family during this holiday season, and a huge shout out to King Jay Dee. The genre still hasn’t witnessed a better producer since his passing, and to be honest, I don’t know if we ever will. Rest in peace and power ♥
